The team is hiring a Project Manager (m/f/d) to guide projects from start to finish, keep stakeholders aligned, and ensure strong delivery quality within agreed time and budget targets.

Role overview

This is a full-time position that can be performed remotely, in a hybrid setup, or on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital and software projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation to release.
• Set the project direction by defining scope, schedules, milestones, and staffing needs.
• Serve as the main coordination point for clients, developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee budgets, risks, and interdependencies across several running projects at once.
• Run agile meetings such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor advancement, clear roadblocks, and keep communication flowing across teams.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, progress reports, and regular status updates.
• Make sure outputs match quality expectations and client requirements.
• Continuously improve workflows, collaboration, and project delivery practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in software, web, or e-commerce work.
• Solid knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban, plus broader project management approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Comfort working with technical teams and translating between business needs and development topics.
• Hands-on experience with collaboration and project tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Trello.
• Strong analytical thinking, issue-solving ability, and close attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are an added advantage.
• Project management certification such as Scrum Master, PSM, PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent is preferred.
• Technical exposure or close collaboration with developers is an advantage.
• Experience in e-commerce environments such as Shopware, Shopify, or Magento is beneficial.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud environments, or modern software architecture is a plus.
• Experience leading distributed or international teams is advantageous.
