Role Overview
This opening is for a Receptionist / Admin Support professional based in Kolkata, working within the Administration department of a CMM Level 5 IT company. The position is full-time and is intended for an immediate joiner. The role is open only to female candidates and the interview will be conducted face to face.
Experience & Qualification
The employer is looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in reception, front office, or a comparable client-facing support role. Prior exposure to a corporate or MNC environment is compulsory. Candidates should hold a full-time graduation degree in any discipline. The upper age limit for this role is 27 years.
Compensation
The offered CTC is up to 5 LPA.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk and supporting day-to-day administrative needs across the office.
- Welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Receive, screen, and redirect incoming calls appropriately.
- Keep the reception area tidy, well-arranged, and presentable at all times.
- Coordinate meeting room reservations and calendar appointments.
- Manage inward and outward mail, courier parcels, and related correspondence.
- Assist different teams with administrative and coordination tasks.
- Record visitor details and follow workplace security procedures.
- Liaise with facility teams for office maintenance and support requirements.
- Support travel bookings, company events, and employee onboarding activities when needed.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong command over front desk operations and reception handling.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Clear spoken and written English communication.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional demeanor with a positive and approachable attitude.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
- Familiarity with office equipment and routine administrative workflows.
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
Mandatory Criteria
