Overview

This role is based at Taylors Creek Golf Course in Fort Stewart, Georgia. It is a part-time, on-site position supporting recreation services for authorized patrons.

What you will do

• Issue equipment, tools, and games to eligible patrons while confirming identity, collecting applicable fees, and completing required paperwork.
• Accept returned items, look for visible damage or missing parts, review stock levels, and help organize the use of courts, lanes, and equipment.
• Take part in and help lead games and social activities, including scheduling and patron coordination.
• Set up party rooms, keep assigned spaces clean, and share facility and program details with visitors.
• Assist with straightforward repairs, routine maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

Employment conditions

• Direct deposit enrollment and a Social Security card are required.
• You must meet all qualification, eligibility, and background-screening requirements for the role.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• You must successfully complete E-Verify.
• Pre-employment screening under AR 215-3, paragraph 2, is required, including a Tier 1 background investigation.

Applicants must be located within the local commuting area, defined as within 50 miles of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Military Spouse Preference and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference eligible candidates are included in this area of consideration.

This position is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living allowance, and differentials will not be paid if eligibility applies.

Access to certain federal facilities may require a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or ID, or an Enhanced Driver’s License issued by WA, MI, MN, NY, or VT.
