Senior Bartender

Role overview

A luxury boutique hotel in Kigali is looking for an experienced Senior Bartender to take charge of bar operations, guide the team, and deliver a refined guest experience. This position calls for a professional who can create distinctive cocktails, uphold exceptional presentation standards, and ensure the bar area remains clean, well-organized, and fully compliant with hygiene expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activity within the bar and support smooth service delivery.
• Design and prepare signature cocktails and other beverage offerings with a high level of consistency.
• Provide polished, premium guest service throughout all interactions.
• Maintain strong standards for display, cleanliness, and hygiene across the bar.
• Guide and support junior bartenders, including coaching and on-the-job training.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of bartending experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Solid mixology expertise and familiarity with drinks from international beverage lists.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a guest-focused approach.
• Capability to train, coach, and mentor junior team members effectively.
