AI Data Annotation Executive – Odia Language

About the internship

This internship is for Odia-speaking candidates who will contribute to an AI data annotation project. The work involves handling Odia text and audio datasets and preparing them through accurate labeling, categorization, intent tagging, validation, and quality review in line with project instructions.

What you will do

• Examine Odia text and audio inputs and annotate them carefully according to the project’s rules.
• Apply labels, tags, classifications, and categories to Odia-language data.
• Determine the appropriate intent, meaning, sentiment, entities, or other required tags based on the brief.
• Check data quality and fix issues wherever needed.
• Work in accordance with annotation standards, formatting rules, and quality expectations.
• Finish assigned work within the deadlines provided.
• Keep project material and client information confidential.
• Work with the internal team and implement feedback, corrections, and updates as needed.

Who can apply

Applications are open to candidates who can work from home, are able to begin between 2nd Jul'26 and 6th Aug'26, can commit to a 3-month internship, and have the relevant interest and skills. Candidates must be proficient in Odia.

Other requirements

• Strong reading comprehension in Odia.
• Working knowledge of English or Hindi for understanding guidelines and communication.
• Good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy and typing ability.
• Ability to follow instructions and project procedures closely.
• Access to a laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection.
• Prior exposure to data annotation, AI training data, transcription, translation, or content review is preferred, but freshers with strong Odia language skills may also apply.
• Both fresher and experienced candidates are welcome, provided they can complete work within the required timelines and have a suitable work-from-home setup.

Additional information

The stipend is structured as fixed pay of ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month plus incentive pay of ₹2,000 to ₹5,000 per month, bringing the total monthly stipend to ₹7,000 to ₹20,000. The application deadline is 2026-08-01 23:59:59. The role has 10 openings and starts immediately. This is a work-from-home internship.
