This opening is for an early-career Account Manager based in New York, NY. The role is in person, with a preference for five days a week in the office, though four days onsite may also be considered. Compensation
Total on-target earnings are $100,000 to $140,000, structured with an 80/20 base-to-variable split.

The hiring company is a rapidly expanding data and signal intelligence platform that supports professionals in investing and venture. It has grown to around 60 employees and is backed by an account management team that has surpassed quota for the past six quarters. The environment is demanding, high-caliber, and centered on long-term, relationship-based account growth.
The Opportunity
This position is designed for someone earlier in their career who wants to build deep expertise in account management. You will handle sophisticated customers, strengthen relationships over time, and develop a strong understanding of the product and market. The team looks for people who are intellectually sharp, ambitious, and quick to develop, with a history of strong performance in prior roles. Previous account management experience is not required; candidates from BDR roles or associate roles at investment firms are especially relevant. You will report directly to the head of account management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand relationships across an assigned customer portfolio.
- Support customer retention and growth within existing accounts.
- Build deep knowledge of the product, data space, and investment landscape to guide clients effectively.
- Work closely with product and operations teams to support customer needs.
- Contribute to a team that has consistently exceeded quota.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience, ideally gained in a startup or in the data/venture capital environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- At least three of these strengths: solid academic record, startup exposure, athletic or competitive background, rigorous academic major, or technical aptitude.
- High ambition, strong learning agility, and a desire to become a top-tier account manager.
- Preferred background includes exposure to investment professionals or data products.
Work Model
This is an onsite role in New York, NY. The standard expectation is five days in the office each week, although a four-day in-office arrangement may be considered.
