Overview
This role is for an AI Training Engineer who will contribute to improving AI systems by working on coding-focused tasks. You’ll join a large community of technical professionals spanning front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and related specialties, all helping shape real-world AI capabilities.
The work combines flexibility with technical challenge. You’ll interact with advanced AI models to create and solve programming problems, develop functional applications, and analyze data through visualization and interpretation. Your output helps train systems that continuously improve over time. Some people use this work alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main focus and select projects based on their own schedule and goals.
How selection works
After creating an account, you’ll complete a short assessment that serves as the screening step. If successful, you’ll receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will then become available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Create and solve a range of programming challenges that support AI training, with a strong focus on Android development.
- Produce well-structured code examples along with clear written explanations.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
- Share feedback that helps improve future model performance.
Compensation and working style
Work is paid on an hourly basis, starting at $50 to $100+ per hour, with some projects offering higher pay. You can choose which assignments to take and decide when to work. The role is completed on your own computer from your own home.
Qualifications
- Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.
- Preferred background in Kotlin.
- Ability to work in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
- Good writing skills and solid grammar.
- Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress.
- Prior experience as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is preferred.

This is an independent contractor opportunity. Payment is processed through PayPal, and the platform does not request any payment from applicants.
