Role Summary
The Aveva Administrator Team Lead will manage computer-aided design administration activities, support 3D model execution, and help maintain database integrity across projects with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure Aveva E3D project libraries, project folders, PML libraries, and other common server-side settings.
- Set up and initialize Aveva E3D/PDMS global projects for hub and satellite locations as a global administrator.
- Create and manage projects, users, teams, catalogs, databases, MDBs, roles, scopes, and ACRs required for project setup and launch.
- Administer Aveva E3D catalogs and specifications through the catalogue module.
- Customize user-defined attributes within the Lexicon module.
- Support customization across multi-disciplinary E3D environments.
- Handle 2D draft administration for all disciplines in the Draw module.
- Administer isometric drafting through the Isodraft module.
- Build report templates to pull different types of reports from the 3D model and related databases.
- Deliver end-user training on customization tools, including classroom and remote formats, and prepare related training materials.
- Work directly with users and discipline leads to capture design-related requirements and special project needs.
- Bring at least 1 to 2 years of experience working with integrated engineering and design workflows or Aveva suite integration, including Aveva Engineering, Aveva E&I, and Aveva Diagrams/P&ID.
- Apply knowledge of PML1 and PML2 in the course of administration and customization work.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience as an Aveva Administrator.
- Practical understanding of detail engineering workflows.
- Exposure to reputed global EPC environments and large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Comfortable working effectively in team-based settings.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to handle multiple requests at once.
