Typical Workday

The role begins by traveling to the client’s residence. Assignments are matched to the CarePro’s abilities and the client’s needs. Duties may include light household help, companionship, attending outings and medical visits, helping with showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, escorting, transfers, and other activities of daily living or instrumental activities of daily living as needed.

Skilled nursing tasks are not part of this position. You will not be expected to administer medications, give injections, provide wound care, or perform therapy.

Schedule and Availability

Work may be available in full-time, part-time, and weekend schedules. Shifts can include mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, after-school hours, and holiday coverage. The role may involve Monday through Friday work, weekend availability, weekends only, no weekends, holidays, or overnight schedules.

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay is $14.00 per hour, with $15 per hour for nights and weekends. Additional pay may be offered for couple assignments and holidays. The role also mentions performance and discretionary bonuses, a referral bonus, a 401(k) program, and the possibility of extra on-call shifts.

Service Area

Assignments may be located across Newnan, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Senoia, Union City, Riverdale, Jonesboro, Tyrone, Sharpsburg, Whitesburg, and Fairburn.

Requirements

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, communicate effectively with clients, have reliable transportation with registration and insurance, be able to lift at least 25 pounds, and be able to pass both a drug test and a background screening.
