This opportunity is with a client in the construction sector who is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for major residential and regeneration work in the Cork area. The position sits within the broader construction function and reports to the Head of Construction.

What you will do

  • Lead a range of residential projects and support the wider development team across the project lifecycle.

  • Plan, organise, and oversee project-related activities from start to finish.
  • Work with stakeholders such as local authorities, development partners, and utility providers.
  • Prepare project programmes and schedules, then track delivery against agreed milestones.
  • Take responsibility for successful project delivery through leadership, technical input, and active management.
  • Make sure contractors and consultants meet contractual obligations.
  • Check that planning conditions are satisfied and that best-practice standards are followed.
  • Manage large-scale main contractors and external design teams.
