Role Overview
The company is looking for a seasoned Construction Manager to take charge of site construction operations for a road project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role calls for a leader who can drive execution, control site activity, and deliver strong project outcomes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- At least 15 years of professional background in road and highway construction.
- A minimum of 5 years working as a Construction Manager, with responsibility for site execution on large infrastructure projects.
- Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East will be a major advantage.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
- Well-developed leadership, planning, organization, and site supervision skills.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating subcontractors, on-site teams, and multiple work fronts at the same time.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, delivery, and final completion of road and bridge works while meeting schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Liaise with government bodies, contractors, and suppliers to keep project execution aligned with regulations and moving smoothly.
- Carry out routine site inspections, track work progress, spot risks or delays, and introduce corrective measures when needed.
- Compile and share project updates with senior leadership, including progress status, issues, and resource needs to support decision-making.
- Enforce safety procedures and quality assurance practices on site to maintain a secure work environment and meet industry standards.
