About the Role
Millennium Services Group Limited is seeking a Control Room Operator for its Belconnen, ACT operations within the retail and shopping centre sector. This role sits at Award Level 5 with potential earnings aligned to that level. You will be central to keeping site operations coordinated, secure, and running smoothly across cleaning and security functions.

What You’ll Do
- Keep watch over CCTV feeds and on-site activity to support safety and compliance.
- Coordinate cleaning and security personnel across several locations.
- Handle alarms, incidents, and live service requests as they arise.
- Record events accurately in logs and incident documentation.
- Liaise with site supervisors, clients, and emergency services when required.
- Follow operational procedures and safety standards at all times.
- Assist with rostering, shift coverage, and workforce coordination.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has prior exposure to a control room or operations coordination environment, along with the ability to communicate clearly, juggle multiple tasks, and stay composed in urgent situations. Comfort using CCTV, radio, and dispatch tools, plus basic computer and report-writing skills, will help you succeed. Shift flexibility is important, including availability for nights, weekends, and public holidays. Depending on the site, a security licence or related certification may also be necessary.
