Data Analyst II

About the Role

Lennar, a Fortune 500 homebuilder known for quality construction and strong service to homeowners, communities, and associates, is looking for a Data Analyst II to support business decisions through analysis and reporting. This is a mid-level position for someone with a solid analytics base who is increasingly comfortable working on projects with limited supervision.

The role focuses on turning business questions into actionable insights, developing and supporting dashboards and reports, and partnering with stakeholders across the business. The position is based in Irvine, CA and is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

• Investigate business challenges and opportunities and turn findings into clear recommendations backed by data.
• Work with stakeholders to define, capture, and document reporting and analytics needs.
• Help build, enhance, maintain, and launch dashboards, reports, and analytics tools.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and explain results in a clear way.
• Run ad hoc analyses to answer questions about business performance.
• Draft and deliver concise reports and analytical summaries for team and stakeholder reviews.

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced SQL capability, including the ability to create complex queries without close guidance.
• Experience using Tableau or comparable visualization tools, along with practical dashboard-building exposure.
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or another related discipline; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new platforms, methods, and technical approaches.
• Exposure to data transformation tools such as dbt is helpful but not mandatory.
• Background in marketing and sales analytics is preferred; media and attribution experience is an added advantage.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Detail-focused, inquisitive, and motivated to continue building technical and analytical depth.

Physical and Work Setting

This job is mainly desk-based and requires regular use of computer equipment, clear speaking and hearing, and the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs. Good finger dexterity is also needed. The role also includes frequent walking, standing, and stair climbing in and around homes, model homes, and properties.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this position is $95,400 to $119,200 per year, with possible adjustments based on qualifications, location-based pay differences, and operational needs. The role may also qualify for bonuses and commissions. Benefits are provided according to company policy and applicable plan terms.
