Duck Creek Policy Configuration Manager

About the role

EY is hiring a senior Duck Creek Policy Configuration professional to help design and deliver insurance platform solutions from its Coimbatore office. The position sits within a globally connected environment focused on building better outcomes for clients, people, society, and the planet.

In this role, you will contribute to application configuration and technical delivery on Duck Creek-based programs, while working closely with business and technical stakeholders to move work forward with confidence.

What you will do

• Configure and develop applications so they align with business workflows and system requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the team and provide direction to junior colleagues.
• Share progress, status updates, and issue notes with onsite teams, leads, and the project manager.
• Offer technical support and practical guidance to keep delivery on track.
• Create high-quality customizations that meet product standards.
• Partner with cross-functional leads to discuss proposed designs and solutions while managing technical risks and issues.

Technical profile

• Strong preference for experience in Property & Casualty insurance IT.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek tools such as Express, Page Builder, Server, Author, Transact, Rating, Forms, User Admin, XSLT Transformation, XML, and SQL.
• Strong background in Duck Creek Manuscript configuration, following Duck Creek best practices and standards.
• Working knowledge of Duck Creek tools such as MS COP.
• Practical experience with Duck Creek Server Object APIs.
• Preferred experience building custom requests.
• Strong skills in XSL transformation.
• Understanding of example databases and tables used in policy processing and storage.
• Experience writing batch scripts for user administration updates and batch processing.
• Ability to manage code and data fixes for production policies.
• Experience resolving out-of-the-box bugs as well as environment and deployment issues.
• Preferred exposure to Insights, CBOs, third-party integration data, and Design Studio.
• Experience with Duck Creek version 7.x or higher.
• Ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders to define solutions for business problems.
• Experience with Duck Creek Producer.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and technology skills.
