Role overview
This contract opportunity is for a Due Diligence Analyst within Deloitte Intelligence Services Centre (ISC). The assignment runs for 6 months, is based remotely in the UK, and is expected to begin as soon as possible.
What the role involves
In this position, you will support the wider intelligence offering by handling qualitative information carefully and consistently. The work calls for a highly organised professional who can work independently, stay alert to detail, spot concerns early, and raise issues when needed. You should be comfortable managing several priorities at once, investigating information thoroughly, and turning large amounts of written material into clear summaries.
- Investigate entities, risk issues, and related ecosystems using a wide mix of sources and digital tools.
- Summarise findings and present clear insights.
- Sort research output according to defined criteria.
- Process high volumes of qualitative information accurately and escalate possible concerns.
- Produce investigative reports.
- Build knowledge of different industries, global risk areas, and major current developments.
- Make effective use of investigative tools and technology.
Training and working style
Training will be provided from the start, including an introduction to the technology used in the delivery centre. The role suits someone who can follow instructions carefully, maintain quality under deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Experience and skills needed
- Ability to work to targets and strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality reports.
- Good task prioritisation skills.
- Familiarity with online research methods.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Confident computer use and good knowledge of the MS suite.
- Previous experience in a similar service or task, such as due diligence or enhanced due diligence investigations.
- Fluency in English for both reading and writing.
Desirable background
- Ability to read additional languages such as Russian, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, or others is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject is preferred, such as International Relations, Political Science, Intelligence Studies, or History.
Additional information
This is a contract role with a duration of 6 months. The start date is ASAP, and the working location is UK remote. The role is with Deloitte Intelligence Services Centre (ISC).
