Its work covers residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare developments.
Role Overview
The organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join its team in Riyadh. This position is responsible for checking, monitoring, and verifying electrical works on site to ensure they are executed in line with approved plans, technical requirements, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and oversee electrical installations, covering power distribution, lighting, low-current systems, and grounding.
- Confirm that all electrical work matches approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant standards.
- Carry out inspections, testing, and commissioning checks for electrical systems.
- Check that materials and equipment delivered to the site satisfy project expectations.
- Track contractor performance and support the delivery of high-quality workmanship.
- Make sure work complies with local rules, electrical codes, and safety requirements.
- Prepare inspection documentation and keep project records accurate and up to date.
- Spot non-compliance issues and follow through on corrective measures.
- Work closely with project engineers, consultants, and contractors on technical issues.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical inspection and construction supervision is needed.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, low-current systems, and testing methods is expected.
- Experience working on major construction projects is important.
- Knowledge of Saudi electrical codes and industry standards is required.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting abilities are necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inspection reporting tools is expected.
