Learning Specialist

Role overview

This contract opportunity is for a Learning Specialist supporting a client-focused education initiative. The position is fully remote and open to candidates working from anywhere. The assignment centers on building and delivering training programs for a global workforce, with close coordination across teams to keep learning content aligned with business objectives.

Compensation

The pay rate for this role is $20 to $40 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Create new training content and refresh existing learning materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead training sessions online and, when required, in person for employees and external partners.
• Measure the impact of training using learner feedback and performance data.
• Work alongside subject matter experts to produce accurate, practical, and engaging learning resources.
• Track training attendance, completion, and certification records.

Required background and skills

• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in corporate learning, training, or education content development.
• Hands-on experience with learning management systems and content authoring tools.
• Ability to explain complex topics in a clear and structured way.
• Experience adapting learning materials for varied learning preferences and different technical skill levels.
