About the company
This role sits within the global sourcing division of a large international retailer. The team operates in a fast-moving environment with a strong focus on supply chain performance and delivery excellence.
About the role
You will oversee the complete apparel production journey, starting with fabric development and sample management and ending with final dispatch. The position requires close attention to quality, timing, and seasonal delivery commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full sampling and development process, beginning with fabric sourcing and continuing through to production-ready approvals.
- Handle supplier and vendor discussions, including commercial terms and cost negotiations, to support business targets and margin goals.
- Monitor the production critical path and keep shipments on schedule by identifying and resolving manufacturing delays.
- Use PLM tools and advanced Excel functions to maintain accurate tracking, improve process flow, and support operational efficiency.
Skills and experience required
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in apparel sourcing.
- A bachelor's degree is required.
