Mobile Cleaner

Role overview

Pinnacle Group is hiring a Mobile Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness across multiple locations in the Wickford area. This position sits within the Soft Facilities Management team, which supports homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations, including housing providers and blue light services. The focus is on delivering clean, safe and welcoming environments with strong attention to service quality, community impact and customer care.

What you’ll be doing

In this mobile role, you will travel between housing sites, including sheltered accommodation, extra care settings and general needs council estates, to carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks. The role covers sites in Basildon, Laindon, Noak Bridge, Billericay and Wickford.

• Drive the company van between assigned sites.
• Clean shared indoor areas such as lifts, stairwells, landings and kitchens.
• Sweep hard floors and collect litter from outdoor or soft-surface areas.
• Wash windows that are within easy reach.
• Flag any repair or maintenance issues to the manager.

Working pattern

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will be dependable, adaptable and comfortable working on their own. You should take pride in keeping environments tidy, safe and well cared for, especially in a role that involves movement between different sites.

• A full UK driving licence is essential because the job is mobile.
• The licence must have been held for at least one year.
• Previous experience in cleaning services and using cleaning equipment is required.
• You should be physically able to handle heavy cleaning machinery.
