Packaging Operator

Role Overview

This position is for a Packaging Operator who will run packaging equipment, check finished goods, and help maintain an orderly and safe production environment.

Key Duties

• Set up, adjust, and run packaging machines so products are packed in line with company quality standards.
• Examine completed items, including seals, labels, and packing materials, to confirm they meet required safety and quality benchmarks.
• Carry out regular cleaning, basic fault-finding, and minor fixes on packaging equipment to reduce production interruptions.
• Maintain production records, including output logs and notes on any issues encountered during the shift.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including applicable OSHA-related practices, and keep the work area neat and organized.
• Track packaging supplies such as boxes and film, and move finished goods to the assigned inventory location.

Core Skills and Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on work with accuracy and speed.
• Comfort operating automated equipment and learning basic computer-based systems if needed.
• Strong eye for detail, especially when checking labels and packing quality.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle movement of products as required.
• Good team communication and the ability to report concerns clearly to a supervisor.

Additional Information

This role is based in Al Rayyan, Al Rayyan, Qatar and is offered as a full-time, onsite position.
