Key duties

• Prepare repaired panels by sanding, filling, and shaping them to a smooth, paint-ready surface.
• Apply body filler and primers, then block them back as needed.
• Mask vehicles thoroughly before paint work begins.
• Spot surface flaws and correct them before the vehicle reaches the paint stage.
• Coordinate with panel beaters and painters to help work flow efficiently through the repair process.
• Keep the work area tidy and safe, and complete the required job records.
