Project Control Manager

Role Overview

Esnad Contracting is looking for an accomplished Project Control Manager to join its Jeddah team. This role focuses on keeping projects on track through effective planning, scheduling, cost oversight, progress tracking, and performance reporting so delivery stays aligned with approved timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and revise project schedules in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Set up baseline schedules and measure actual progress against the approved plan.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress updates along with performance dashboards.
• Track project spending and examine gaps between planned and actual costs.
• Analyze schedules to pinpoint critical activities that may affect delivery.
• Carry out delay assessments and suggest corrective or recovery measures.
• Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Finance teams to keep project execution aligned.
• Monitor change orders and evaluate their effect on both budget and timeline.
• Develop KPI reports and performance summaries for management review.
• Assist project leadership with forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making support.
• Identify schedule and cost-related risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Maintain compliance with project controls processes, standards, and reporting expectations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Hands-on background in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or EPC projects.
• Primavera P6 proficiency is required.
• Solid understanding of planning, cost management, forecasting, and reporting practices.
• Experience with delay analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), and project performance tracking.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with project reporting tools.
• Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and cross-functional coordination capability.
• PMP, PSP, or similar certifications are considered a plus.
