Role overview
Verity Medical Ltd is hiring a Purchaser for a fully on-site position based in Tagoat, County Wexford. The salary for this role is €28,000 to €30,000 per year, and the company is looking for someone who can start right away. Candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance of Tagoat will be preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Create purchase orders in the company’s ERP platform, Zoho.
- Identify and engage suitable suppliers and parts sources while securing competitive pricing and reliable lead times.
- Work closely with Production Planning and Receiving Inspection teams to keep purchasing aligned with operational needs.
- Track supplier delivery and performance, and follow up proactively on urgent requirements when needed.
Requirements
- Strong command of English, mathematics, and general computer use.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Prior experience using Zoho Inventory or a comparable inventory management tool is an advantage.
- Knowledge of electronic components would be beneficial, though it is not mandatory.
Additional information
This is a strictly on-site position, so regular in-person attendance is required.
