Key Responsibilities

• Carry out manual testing using a risk-aware, context-sensitive approach.
• Execute testing in line with client methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and BDD.
• Maintain accurate records in defect tracking and test management tools, including test cases, defects, and execution outcomes.
• Work closely with business partners and external vendors to review defects and prioritize testing work.
• Translate functional and business requirements into practical test cases.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and status updates.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in QA.
• A Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Background as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst with hands-on experience in test case design, test data design, test execution, and reporting.
• Exposure to both front-end and back-end web application testing.
• Strong preference for candidates with service-level API testing experience using tools such as SoapUI, Postman, or Katalon.
• Experience using test management platforms such as qTest.
• ISTQB certification or a similar testing credential is an advantage.
• Ability to write SQL queries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience testing complex IT solutions.
• Experience supporting System Integration Testing and UAT.
• Flexible, self-driven, and open to giving and receiving feedback at every level.
• Comfortable adapting to challenges while maintaining a constructive attitude.
• Able to build cooperative relationships in a team-based environment.

Work Environment

You will join a collaborative setting where experienced professionals exchange knowledge, mentor colleagues, and help deliver real-world client solutions. The role is based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and is onsite.
