Overview
Carnegie Mellon University Qatar’s Business Administration department is hiring one full-time Research Assistant for a one-year appointment that may be extended. The role is based in Doha, Qatar and supports research in Marketing, with a focus on Consumer Behavior, as well as Organizational Behavior.
Responsibilities
- Develop study concepts and prepare research materials such as advertisements and product packaging.
- Coordinate research activities, including participant recruitment and study logistics.
- Conduct literature reviews and review key findings with the supervisor on assigned topics.
- Draft progress updates, reports, proposals, and related documentation as needed.
- Carry out statistical analysis on collected data.
Required Profile
- Strong to advanced ability in photo editing.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, or a closely related field.
- Capability in academic or professional writing.
- Comfort with statistical analysis, or a willingness to build that skill.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Background
- Experience with creating and editing video content.
- Prior exposure to academic research work.
