Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Security Guard position based in Sydney, New South Wales. The successful candidate will help maintain safety and order across a variety of client environments such as corporate sites, events, hospitality venues, and car parks. The role calls for a calm, observant, and service-oriented professional who can respond quickly, communicate clearly, and represent the company in a respectful manner.

Key Duties

Day-to-day work involves keeping watch over premises, carrying out routine patrols, controlling site access, and responding promptly to alarms or security incidents. You will also prepare accurate incident records, support crowd control activities, assist with RSA-related security tasks where relevant, and interact with clients, visitors, and members of the public in a courteous and professional way. The role requires following company procedures, staying aligned with applicable legislation, and working alongside the wider security team to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should bring strong interpersonal and customer service skills, along with practical knowledge of physical security, private security, and personnel security practices. A valid NSW Security Guard licence is required, or the candidate must be eligible to obtain one, together with an understanding of relevant state regulations and workplace safety expectations. The role also suits someone who can stay composed under pressure, evaluate risks quickly, and make sound decisions in changing situations. Good written and verbal communication is essential for logging events and preparing incident reports. Candidates must be fit enough to patrol, stand for long periods, and respond rapidly when needed. Experience in corporate, event, hospitality, or mobile security will be an advantage.

Work Schedule

The position may involve a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on client requirements.
