Role overview
Fractal Analytics is hiring a Senior Azure Data Engineer to build and support scalable data platforms and engineering solutions. This role is based in India and can be located in Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Noida, Chennai, Coimbatore, or Bangalore.
Experience required
The position calls for 6 to 9 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and support the organization’s data infrastructure and platform services.
- Build reliable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and analytics while protecting data quality and integrity.
- Design data models and database structures that align with business needs and reporting goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, assess, and prioritize data requirements and use cases.
- Oversee and improve distributed systems and data storage environments for performance and scalability.
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, patterns, and best practices across the data function.
Mandatory technical background
Hands-on experience with Azure, ADF, ADLS2, Databricks, Python, PySpark, DevOps, AI factory, and Pygentic is required.
