The company emphasizes transparency in its hiring process and refers candidates to a blog that explains what to expect at each stage. This role is based in Germany and is set up as remote temporary work.
Role overview
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment for business functions, especially commercial and research roles, while also supporting selected technical hires. The role is focused on partnering with hiring managers, shaping recruitment strategies, building talent pipelines, advising on market conditions, and improving hiring performance through data and technology.
What you will do
- Run full-cycle hiring for business roles, including commercial and research positions, and also handle some technical vacancies.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify hiring needs and design effective recruitment approaches.
- Serve as a recruitment advisor by sharing market intelligence and helping guide hiring decisions.
- Develop and deliver sourcing plans for the DACH region as well as key international markets such as France, Spain, the UK, the US, and Latam.
- Build strong pipelines for priority and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Provide candidates with a smooth and positive experience throughout the process.
- Use hiring data to spot delays, identify bottlenecks, and improve outcomes.
- Work with ATS tools and recruiting systems to make processes and reporting more efficient.
- Keep current on market trends, sourcing methods, and new recruiting technologies.
- Support employer branding efforts, including the company’s “Life at Appinio” blog, to strengthen its employer brand.
What the company is looking for
- A university degree and 4 to 6 years of in-house end-to-end recruiting experience in a fast-moving, high-growth setting.
- Proven success hiring for business functions, particularly commercial roles, with exposure to tech hiring as well.
- Interest in the market research industry and in the relevant talent pools.
- Strong recruiting experience in the DACH market; exposure to the UK, France, Spain, Latam, or the US is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to source proactively and convert outreach into hires.
- Confidence in collaborating with hiring managers and challenging assumptions constructively.
- Ability to use metrics and data to make decisions and improve hiring results.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on solving problems rather than only carrying out requests.
- Hands-on experience with ATS and recruitment technology, ideally Greenhouse and/or Ashby.
- Strong organization skills, English fluency, and the ability to manage several hiring processes at once.
- Interest in staying ahead of recruiting trends, especially AI and automation.
Perks and benefits
- Flexible time off policy with an average of 30 PTO days and no fixed vacation cap.
- Temporary work-from-abroad option for EU-based employees for up to 180 days per year.
- All necessary equipment provided, including a personal MacBook.
- Deutschland ticket or a mobility budget through the NAVIT app for employees in Hamburg or Berlin.
- Subsidized Urban Sports Club or ClassPass membership depending on location.
- Access to coworking spaces in cities where many Appinioneers are based, including Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, and New York.
Interview process
The hiring process includes a screening call with the hiring manager, a case study interview, a stakeholder interview, reference checks, an executive interview, and then an offer.
