Technician

Role overview

This position focuses on welding and metal fabrication work carried out according to provided instructions. The role includes handling both straightforward and more advanced welding tasks, and the technician will report directly to the Operations Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out blending repairs on turbine blades.
• Maintain the required level of product quality while also looking after equipment, meeting production targets and timelines, and keeping the work area clean and orderly.
• Follow all applicable EHS rules and procedures, and immediately raise any unsafe act or unsafe condition.
• Take on other related duties when assigned.

Requirements

• Secondary education completed or a higher qualification.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or prior TIG welding experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the same or a related field.
• Ability to understand and use basic English for speaking and reading.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

This is a hands-on technical role based in Singapore. The work involves welding, fabrication, repair activities, and adherence to production, quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
