This internship focuses on creating high-level scientific assessments, particularly in quantum chemistry, advanced organic synthesis, and thermodynamics. You will develop detailed evaluations using exclusively text and data formats, covering ab initio methods, density functional theory (DFT), molecular orbital theory, stereochemistry, reaction mechanisms, and coupled equilibrium/kinetic models. The work involves formulating problems with precise text-based chemical notation standards such as IUPAC, SMILES, InChI, reaction SMARTS, and mathematical expressions without reliance on images or diagrams. All tasks require structuring content in machine-readable formats for automated grading and validation through rigorous frameworks ensuring atom balance, charge conservation, thermodynamic and kinetic feasibility, and managing invalid or nonphysical cases.
