Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the LPS Data Lead, the analyst will provide direct analytical and data support across monoline facilities and the broader Lockton portfolio solutions initiatives. Key duties include building and maintaining data infrastructure, analyzing premium and claims data to identify opportunities, creating high-quality market submission data packs, and developing dashboards to track facility performance. Additional support will be provided for various strategic initiatives within LPS.

Data and Analytics for Monoline Facilities

Extract and analyze data aiding in internal opportunity scoping with stakeholders via BI and analytics tools.
Deliver insightful reporting on profitability and scope of monoline facility opportunities.
Enhance and maintain the data systems supporting monoline initiatives.

Market Submissions & Engagement

Collaborate with Data Lead to prepare professional data submissions for insurance markets using Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF formats including diverse analytical exhibits.
Respond to ad hoc data requests swiftly and accurately.
Maintain up-to-date reporting on key metrics through interactive dashboards covering indexation rates, premium and claims by team and risk code, accumulation versus limits, and modeled loss estimates using RMS/AIR data.

Required Skills & Experience

Full lifecycle development of Power BI reports including ETL, data modelling, DAX, and report creation.
Competent SQL development with attention to best practices and query optimization.
Solid understanding of relational databases and data architecture concepts.
Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and Power Pivot.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in insurance or financial services industries.
Familiarity with London Market data workflows such as BDX, Xchanging, or Vipr.
Experience managing large, multi-source datasets and constructing data pipelines.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation purposes.
Expertise in building automated reporting systems and data workflows.
Hands-on use of Databricks in analytics and reporting processes.
