Arabic Language Expert

Overview

This role involves reviewing AI-generated Arabic and English responses as well as producing high-quality bilingual training materials. The expert will evaluate the quality of reasoning and problem-solving approaches in the content, providing detailed feedback to improve AI model accuracy, clarity, and logical coherence. The position is fully remote, contract-based with flexible working hours, intended for skilled linguistic professionals contributing to top-tier AI model enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive prompts and model responses in various subjects in Arabic and English, aiding AI knowledge development.
• Assess, rank, and compare multiple AI-generated answers to refine response quality, fluency, and context fit.
• Identify and report inaccuracies, biases, or logical gaps in AI outputs to maintain model reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Arabic Language, Communications, Journalism, or similar.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic, including excellent writing and editing skills in Modern Standard Arabic and a major dialect such as Egyptian Arabic.
• Strong English abilities at minimum C1 level for both reading and writing to support bilingual content evaluation.
• A minimum of three years’ professional experience in relevant fields such as translation, localization, editorial quality assurance, or linguistic review.
• Meticulous attention to detail and consistent application of detailed evaluation criteria during high-volume contractual assignments.
• Solid fact-checking skills, capable of validating details with trusted references as needed by tasks.
• Ability to detect reasoning errors, unclear explanations, and methodological faults even in otherwise fluent language use.
• Preparedness to work independently in an asynchronous remote setup with dependable communication and availability.
• Preferred prior experience in AI data training, annotation, or evaluation workflows and familiarity with MENA Arabic localization norms, including terminology and cultural nuances.
