Assistant Manager - Engineering Solutions - BIM

Role Overview

This position is responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining solution components that underpin development business systems such as Design, Engineering, BIM (Building Information Modeling), GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and Digital Twin platforms. The role ensures that both business objectives and technical requirements are transformed into robust, scalable, and interoperable solutions that enable smooth project execution and maintain consistency across various development systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create solution architecture designs, technical specs, and integration frameworks that comply with established enterprise standards.
• Convert business needs and functional specifications into scalable technical implementations.
• Carry out the deployment process including configuration, testing, data migration, and provide go-live assistance.
• Facilitate systems integration ensuring reliable interoperability and seamless data exchange between platforms.
• Develop and upkeep technical documentation, interface specifications, and architecture artifacts.
• Verify implemented solutions meet architecture, governance, and compliance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical or integration challenges.
• Monitor system health, support enhancement projects, and propose continuous improvement measures.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous process improvement and assist in operational readiness and system handover phases.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, relevant industry trends, and best practices related to development systems and enterprise infrastructure.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in solution architecture, systems deployment, and integration projects.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Practical experience with Design, Engineering, BIM, GIS, Digital Twin, or associated business systems is highly desirable.
• Experience working in large organizations, smart city projects, giga projects, real estate, engineering, or the entertainment sector adds value.
• Exposure to consultancy or enterprise technology delivery environments is beneficial.
• Certifications related to enterprise applications, BIM, GIS, Digital Twin technologies, cloud platforms, or solution architecture are preferred.
