Assistant Manager - Industrial Engineering

Position Overview

This role is for an Assistant Manager in Industrial Engineering located at Bangalore (13-D,12-D,13-C, and 13-B KIADB Industrial Area, 562107, Attibele). The position belongs to a Swiss multinational corporation with a heritage spanning nearly 150 years and operations in over 120 countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and standardization across processes.
• Drive value-added efficiency improvements, including Scale to Cost and Design to Cost projects.
• Oversee employee continuous improvement program (CIP) activities and manage incentive calculations.
• Administer standardization efforts such as conducting time studies, balancing production lines, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), routing protocols, and should costing analyses.
• Conduct monthly analyses and recommend manpower requirements and workload allocations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Methods Time Measurement (MTM) or Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST) is considered a significant advantage.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold one of the following qualifications: B.Tech or B.E. in Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering; or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechatronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
