Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Bid Coordinator eager to make their mark in bid writing and infrastructure projects. In partnership with a fast-expanding civil contractor in New Zealand, this role is integral to their pre-contracts team, managing and enhancing tender submissions for large infrastructure contracts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the full tender process from initial planning through to final submission delivery.
- Produce and format professional tender documents, capability statements, CVs, and supplementary content ensuring high quality and visual impact.
- Manage bid schedules, deadlines, and inputs from various stakeholders to ensure timely and cohesive submissions.
- Maintain and update bid libraries, templates, and document control systems for streamlined processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and supporting materials.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and professional presentation of all submissions.
- Identify and recommend improvements to bid templates, processes, and systems.
- Provide general administrative assistance within the pre-contracts and leadership teams as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing quality documentation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Keen eye for formatting, layout, and enhancing document aesthetics.
- Proactive, self-driven, and confident in stakeholder follow-ups and task management.
- Strong interest in growing a career in bid coordination and bid writing.
- Backgrounds from administration, coordination, marketing, communications, construction, engineering, or professional services are welcome.
