About the Role
Join a modern and rapidly expanding accountancy firm based in Cheltenham as a Bookkeeper. This is a hybrid role with four days on-site and one day working from home, embedded in a supportive and ambitious team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse array of bookkeeping tasks including sales invoicing, supplier payments, bank reconciliations, VAT submissions, month-end procedures, and project costing.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering service excellence beyond transactional bookkeeping.
- Utilize modern cloud accounting tools, primarily Xero, alongside Excel, to maintain accuracy and efficiency in financial records.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven bookkeeping experience in either practice or industry settings.
- Strong affinity for accuracy, reconciliations, and detailed financial record-keeping.
- Comfortable engaging with clients and fostering positive working relationships.
- Proficient use of Xero and Excel for bookkeeping tasks.
