Business Analyst

Role Overview

This position is embedded within Equity Operations, contributing to diverse strategic change projects that impact the business. The candidate will handle multiple projects concurrently, including regulatory updates, defining business needs, optimizing operational procedures, testing activities, managing reference data, performing reconciliations, handling counterparty communications, processing MAPS requests, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaboration with Front Office, Technology, Risk, Compliance teams, and external stakeholders will be essential to implement changes while maintaining seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support various strategic initiatives impacting equity operations through effective project multitasking.
• Engage in regulatory change implementations and facilitate operational process enhancements.
• Prepare and execute UAT and testing plans to validate system and process changes.
• Manage reference data modifications, reconcile trading activities, and coordinate counterparty communications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Front Office, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and external market participants to deliver project objectives.
• Ensure continuity and smooth operation of business-as-usual processes amidst concurrent project workloads.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst with trade support background.
• Knowledge of Investment Banking operations, particularly in settlements, trade lifecycle, and reconciliation procedures.
• Hands-on experience with UAT and software/system testing.
• Strong capabilities in stakeholder management and problem resolution.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently within a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within Equities Operations.
• Exposure to Front Office Operations or managing Front Office projects.
• Familiarity with change management practices.
