Job Overview

As a Cashier, you will deliver outstanding customer service throughout the checkout experience to foster customer loyalty while diligently safeguarding company assets by maintaining a sharp focus on detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer courteously and with a friendly attitude.
• Efficiently process all sales transactions, including merchandise deactivation according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote various company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection options, and charitable campaigns.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe work procedures, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workstation.
• Protect register security and integrity by handling cash responsibly, following company policies, and staying alert to your surroundings.
• Refer customers to a Customer Service Manager for additional service or transactional needs as necessary.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.50.

• Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older.
