About the Role

Le Lumiere Restaurant is seeking a responsible and customer-focused Cashier to become a part of their team in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This role involves managing all payment transactions efficiently and maintaining accurate billing records to support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions with precision.
• Generate accurate customer bills and provide receipts promptly.
• Reconcile the cash drawer at shift start and end to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain detailed daily records of sales and payment transactions.
• Assist customers professionally regarding billing queries.
• Collaborate closely with service and kitchen staff to facilitate seamless billing processes.
• Keep the billing counter clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Adhere to company policies and safeguard all financial information confidentially.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent educational qualification.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience working as a cashier, preferably within the restaurant sector.
• Basic proficiency with POS billing systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills combined with excellent customer service aptitude.
• Good numerical skills and reliable cash handling capability.
• Demonstrated honesty, dependability, and willingness to work in shifts.
