Construction Commercial Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Commercial Manager to contribute to a major project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position requires a candidate with a strong academic background and significant expertise in both pre-contract and post-contract commercial management aspects within the construction industry.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrate extensive experience managing commercial activities before and after contract award.
• Expertise in tendering processes, procurement procedures, and contract administration.
• Proficient in commercial reporting, meticulous cost control, and accurate forecasting.
• Sound knowledge of managing contract variations, claims, and overseeing final accounts.
• Preferably have prior experience working with a leading main contractor.
• Experience handling major building or infrastructure projects.
• Possess a deep understanding of construction contracts and associated commercial risks.
• Experience working within Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East region is advantageous.
