About the Position

We are seeking a Controller to join a prominent organization distinguished by its expansive, multi-location operating framework. This senior role leads the accounting and financial reporting functions, focusing on delivering precise, punctual, and consistent financial data across various business units and entities. The Controller ensures robust financial discipline within a complex, high-volume service organization, balancing compliance and controls with operational needs.

Collaborating closely with executive management, the Controller provides insightful financial analysis to support strategic planning and operational excellence. The role demands a practical, hands-on approach to leading teams through multifaceted processes, evolving accounting controls, systems, and procedures for scalability and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all essential accounting operations throughout the organization.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes covering multiple entities or divisions.
• Ensure financial reports are accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting standards.
• Develop and enforce effective internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior executives on budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial analysis.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and third-party providers.
• Promote continual process improvements and implement system upgrades.
• Mentor and support the accounting team within a sophisticated organizational environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with CPA certification mandatory.
• Have at least seven years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience working in large organizations with multiple locations, cost centers, or business entities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting, and internal control mechanisms.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is strongly favored.

Compensation and Equity
