About the Role
Nift helps people discover new brands through thoughtful thank-you gifts from the businesses they already use. The company supports partners in creating better customer experiences and generating additional revenue, while also helping DTC brands and restaurants reach new customers at scale. As the company grows quickly, it is looking for a versatile product copywriter who can help define the brand voice across multiple customer touchpoints and build the creative processes needed to scale that work.
What You'll Do
- Create consumer-facing copy across the product experience, including interface content, in-app prompts, tooltips, notifications, and guidance.
- Write email content for both transactional and promotional use cases, with attention to the full customer journey.
- Partner with customer success to develop support materials such as FAQs, help content, and user guides that improve onboarding and service.
- Produce persuasive product descriptions for e-commerce listings that clearly communicate features, benefits, and practical uses.
- Keep brand messaging consistent across channels while also improving search visibility and user engagement.
- Adapt campaigns and product copy for partner brands when the product is white-labeled and embedded into their consumer apps.
- Work with partner teams to align voice, tone, and messaging while preserving the core product experience.
- Use data and creative performance insights to connect messaging decisions to measurable business results.
- Help transform a manual creative workflow into a more scalable, insight-driven process.
- Build better systems for tracking launches, resolving information gaps, and improving QA and workflow discipline.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, analysts, product engineers, sales, and customer success teams.
- Research competitors and market trends to keep content fresh, relevant, and effective.
What You Need
- 7 to 10 years of experience writing copy that can be tied to measurable outcomes.
- Hands-on experience shaping a B2C brand voice and supporting the full user experience.
- A strong portfolio that shows consumer-facing product copy, A/B-tested work, and revenue-focused writing.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a clear, persuasive, and customer-centered style.
- Ability to shift tone and style based on audience, platform, and brand guidelines.
- Familiarity with UX writing principles and best practices for in-product content.
- Experience writing email content with an understanding of customer lifecycle communication.
- Comfort working independently as well as across teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Knowledge of SEO and e-commerce copywriting best practices.
- Bonus advantage for candidates who have worked on white-labeled products and partner-brand adaptations.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Advertising, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or digital product environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with UX/UI tools or email marketing platforms is a plus.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation package.
- The chance to work with a creative, future-focused team and help shape both the brand voice and the operating model of a fast-growing product company.
