About BX Studio

Role Purpose

This role fills the strategic creative leadership gap within ongoing retainers, moving beyond just reacting to briefs and ticket requests. The Creative Director, Optimization leads strategic creative initiatives across BX's top retainers, transforming analytics into design opportunities, establishing BX as a proactive creative partner, and expanding design revenue by deepening client trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative direction across a set of retained client accounts, partnering with Account Managers, Project Managers, designers, developers, and data analysts.
  • Develop and deliver a monthly web strategy and conversion rate optimization (CRO) plan prioritizing initiatives for each client.
  • Implement the B2B SaaS web playbook, recognizing effective patterns in pricing, product pages, navigation, social proof, forms, call-to-action hierarchies, and demo flows without needing extensive justification.
  • Provide real-time creative feedback and recommendations during client communications to explain design decisions in business terms.
  • Analyze data reports to identify user friction, engagement trends, and conversion opportunities, translating them into actionable design improvements, closely collaborating with data analysts.

  • Provide direction and feedback to junior designers to ensure consistency and high standards.

  • Leverage AI tools in creative workflows such as AI-assisted wireframing, prototyping, and design systems to accelerate production from concept to implementation.
  • Maintain design system components that facilitate AI-driven brand-consistent work over long-term projects.
  • Assess and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure alignment with brand quality.
  • Continuously explore new AI tools to enhance quality, speed, and margins, adopting beneficial ones and discarding ineffective ones.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in creative direction with a track record leading retained client engagements in an agency setting.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients, especially in B2B sectors, with a portfolio that shows a high degree of polish.
  • Primarily a strategic thinker focused on UX, brand, and CRO rather than just design execution, though capable of detailed design work when necessary.
  • Comfortable interpreting analytics reports and integrating data insights within the design process.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective client interactions with senior B2B marketing leaders.
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B lead generation websites, CMS-based sites, and conversion-driven design patterns.
