Job Overview
Regalo Health is looking for a meticulous and analytical Data Business Analyst to join our Phoenix, AZ team. This role involves transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that influence strategic decisions for our customers and program managers. The analyst will collaborate with program leaders across departments to pinpoint opportunities, define key performance metrics, generate impactful reports, and enhance both operational and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze extensive and intricate data collections to detect trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Produce meaningful insights and strategic recommendations that support business decisions.
- Conduct on-demand analyses to address critical business questions.
- Work alongside business leaders to understand and fulfill reporting and analytical requirements.
- Design, build, and sustain dashboards and reports using business intelligence platforms.
- Create executive summary reports and presentations to clearly convey analytical findings.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive organizational progress.
- Guarantee stakeholders receive accurate, relevant, and timely data.
- Extract, convert, and verify data from diverse sources utilizing SQL and associated tools.
- Ensure data accuracy by identifying and fixing quality issues.
- Support enhancements in reporting procedures and data workflow automation.
- Recommend data-driven process improvements to optimize business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost operational effectiveness.
- Aid decision-making with forecasting, trend evaluations, and scenario modeling.
- Communicate priorities and analytical solutions with leadership and business partners.
- Present discoveries and suggestions clearly to stakeholders.
- Promote best practices and foster a culture focused on continual improvement and data-driven choices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- 5 to 8+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar function.
- Expert-level skills in SQL and relational database management systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and BI/dashboard tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Grafana.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in defining KPIs, developing dashboards, and preparing executive reports.
- Exceptional communication skills, including writing, speaking, and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capability to juggle several projects independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Preferred experience in ETL procedures, data automation, statistical analysis, forecasting, handling vast datasets, data governance, and data quality management.
