Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design and build robust, scalable data pipelines that ingest large volumes of data from diverse sources, transforming it into formats suitable for analytical purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain highly scalable and optimized data pipelines using advanced monitoring and logging methods.
Utilize various programming languages, tools, and frameworks to integrate complex, sparse data sets aligning with both functional and non-functional business needs.
Create and implement data tools that support analytics and data science teams in building, optimizing, and fine-tuning analytical use cases.
Manage data warehouse solutions ensuring their availability, scalability, security, and optimal performance.
Design and operate software for cleansing and harmonizing data originating from multiple sources.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field with at least four years of relevant experience.
Strong hands-on experience in big data technologies especially within Google Cloud and cloud-based data engineering platforms.
Proficiency with data ingestion tools, data modeling, visualization, and pipeline architecture and development.
Experience working with BigQuery data warehouse systems.
Solid understanding of performance tuning and query optimization techniques on extensive datasets.
Familiarity with ETL tools, data virtualization, and semantic layer technologies.
Experience using visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI.
