Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistics to develop innovative ML-driven solutions aimed at enhancing advertisement recommendation quality and optimizing campaign outcomes.
• Analyze and extract actionable insights from extensive historical data to identify and address challenges related to business and customer experience.
• Partner closely with engineers, product managers, and analysts to define requirements, design technical solutions, and implement scalable inference systems at Swiggy's scale.
• Keep up-to-date with cutting-edge ML research, especially in advertisements bidding algorithms and recommendation systems, adapting relevant advancements to solve Swiggy-specific problems.
• Communicate your findings and technical achievements effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences via internal and external presentations and publications.
• Engage with challenging projects in the logistics sector, driving substantial impact.
• Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams including software developers and product managers to embed data-centric solutions within our platforms.
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models.
• Take full ownership of projects from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring high-quality, impactful results.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in industry or research settings.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with skill in breaking down complex issues and building solutions grounded in fundamental principles.
• Proven hands-on experience applying machine learning, deep learning, and statistical methods to real-world business scenarios.
• Preferred: Experience handling large-scale data and deploying ML/DL models in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and TensorFlow is essential.
• Effective spoken and written communication skills are required.
• Valuable: Previous work experience in ecommerce and logistics domains.
• Familiarity or experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), and natural language processing (NLP).
• Demonstrated success in delivering and operationalizing ML and DL data products.
