Duty Manager

Overview

More Retail Private Limited is seeking a Duty Manager with over two years of experience in the retail sector to manage store operations efficiently in Puducherry. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Food and FMCG industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely store opening and strict compliance with all operational processes.
• Maintain inventory control by preventing stock shortages and minimizing losses.
• Oversee smooth daily store operations and upkeep of store assets.
• Engage regularly with customers, both formally and informally, to understand their needs and relay feedback to merchants regarding product assortment, availability, and pricing.
• Manage store space effectively to optimize merchandise display and storage.
• Enhance staff productivity by maintaining the optimal workforce to meet business goals.
• Continuously review and control processes related to dumping, product expiry, and shrinkage.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail business operations.
• Experience in Food and FMCG sectors is advantageous.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 18000 to 23000 INR.
