Job Overview

The role of Electronics Technician involves providing operational support and maintenance for P-4 SAKITS pods utilized in the Royal Saudi Air Force's F15C/D Air Combat Maneuver & Instrumentation (ACMI) program. This position reports directly to the Site Manager and collaborates closely with Field Service Technicians while working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Document serial numbers, pod types, dates, times, and remarks for all P-4 SAKITS pods moving in and out of the pod shop.
Track daily availability status of all P-4 SAKITS pods.
Record and analyze monthly elapsed Time Meter readings to determine pod operational hours.
Operate and maintain the P-4 SAKITS Test Set following technical guidelines.
Conduct Organizational-Level and Intermediate-Level maintenance tests and replace Shop Replaceable Assemblies as required.
Support operation and upkeep of display equipment.
Perform computer operations duties such as program loading, subsystem testing, and data handling.
Load pre-mission exercise data into Data Transfer Devices and manage their issuance and return logs for aircrews.
Operate graphic terminals for live exercises; assist with display and control functions.
Provide technical support for replay and debriefing preparations.
Maintain organized records of mission tapes and event logs containing relevant mission details.
Liaise directly with Royal Saudi Air Force personnel regarding mission sortie effectiveness.
Assist in project equipment setup when necessary.
Collaborate as a cohesive team, supporting colleagues to ensure service excellence.
Adhere strictly to Cubic’s policies on conduct, quality, security, occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
Undertake additional duties assigned by management as needed.

Requirements

Prior experience in a comparable electronics technician role.
Capacity to comply with company standard practices during field assignments.
Demonstrated adaptability to remote or international working environments.
College diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent military and technical education.

Preferred Qualifications

English proficiency certified by recognized exams such as TOEFL or STEP, valid in Saudi Arabia.
Degree in engineering specialized in Electronics, Avionics, or Communications.
