About the Company

Innowave Tech is an industrial AI business focused on building advanced AI solutions for the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors. With deep industry knowledge and practical implementation experience, the company helps manufacturers improve quality, raise productivity, gain better operational visibility, and move toward more autonomous operations.

Role Overview

The company is looking for a capable, hands-on Finance Manager to help strengthen and expand finance operations, governance, audit preparedness, and compliance as the business grows across international markets.

This position covers the full scope of finance work, including reporting, cash flow control, budgeting, tax compliance, audit support, and internal controls. The right candidate will bring solid accounting knowledge, operational finance experience, and the ability to improve finance systems and processes for a fast-scaling technology company with regional activity across Singapore, China, Malaysia, Europe, and other markets.

The role also involves building stronger finance discipline, improving reporting clarity, reinforcing compliance and audit readiness, and providing management with timely financial insights for strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting functions, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Draft precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in line with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Provide financial analysis, variance commentary, and KPI monitoring to support business decisions.
  • Assist with business planning, forecasting, and financial modelling for growth initiatives.
  • Track profitability, operating spend, project costs, and working capital performance.
  • Improve finance systems, internal controls, and governance processes to support regional and global expansion.
  • Lead process optimisation, automation, and efficiency initiatives within finance operations.
  • Create scalable workflows and documentation practices that improve reporting accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Ensure effective use of accounting and ERP/finance software tools.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit preparation and maintain compliance with accounting standards, statutory rules, and corporate governance expectations.
  • Strengthen audit controls, documentation discipline, and financial policies to meet investor, board, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with IRAS rules, GST submissions, tax filings, and statutory reporting obligations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, banks, and relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and banking activities.
  • Prepare rolling cash flow projections and suggest ways to improve working capital and financial efficiency.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance review activities.
  • Work with management teams across regions to support commercial and operational decisions.
  • Support finance coordination for Singapore, China, Malaysia, Europe, and other regional operations.
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, procurement, and leadership teams to keep financial controls and reporting standards aligned.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, ideally gained in technology, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, SFRS, GST, IRAS compliance, and statutory reporting.
  • Background in external audits, tax compliance, and financial governance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve finance systems, internal controls, and operational finance processes.
  • Exposure to regional finance operations and multi-entity or inter-company accounting is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder management capability.
  • Hands-on, detail-focused, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferred: experience with investor reporting, fundraising, or due diligence processes.
  • Preferred: exposure to regional or international finance operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Europe.
  • Preferred: prior experience in a startup setting.
  • Preferred: experience scaling finance operations in high-growth companies.
  • Preferred: familiarity with audit-readiness requirements for ISO, governance, or compliance frameworks.
