Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will be based at Biote's headquarters in Irving, TX. This role involves a hybrid work schedule, with on-site presence Monday through Wednesday and remote work Thursday and Friday. The Analyst will support financial strategy by analyzing historical data, creating forecasting models, monitoring market trends, and delivering insightful financial reports and recommendations to executive leaders and department managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close procedures, including account reconciliations, variance analyses, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Build and update financial operating expense forecasts and provide budgeting guidance that accounts for headcount plans and departmental spending patterns.
• Evaluate financial data and business metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational enhancement.
• Collaborate with business units to construct financial models, enhance reporting workflows, and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
• Produce ad-hoc financial analyses and presentations to support leadership decision-making by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and extended-range financial plans.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages.
• Conduct variance analyses comparing actual results to budgets, forecasts, and prior-year figures.
• Track key performance indicators and create executive dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Maintain and regularly update customer, vendor, and employee account information within internal systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance.
• Experience in medical, biotechnology, or healthcare sales sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
